LOGO DESIGN
White House Renovations is a home renovations company. The owners wanted their brand to convey a rustic yet elegant feel. This is what guided me on the two typeface choices. With the words "White House" I went with this particular sans-serif because it had a bold feel and I knew it would be marketed on the sides of trucks, and I wanted the logo to have a readability as these trucks and vans drove past other cars on the road. I also thought this was a perfect choice for their brand because it had a hand lettered texture to it giving it a rustic feel. This is why I went with a bold serif typeface for the "Renovations". It was to give the logo a sense of elegance.
